Thank You, Rev. Terrie!

Since May 2023, Rev. Terrie Chedore of Athens United Church has worked closely with the CSC to turn our studio into a reality. Located in the lower level of her congregation, she saw and understood our vision of turning this space into a community pottery studio right from the beginning, with so much enthusiasm and support. This included helping us with facility grants for lighting, electricity, new windows, and doors that transformed our space into a welcoming, fully-functioning studio.

In August 2025, Rev. Terrie will be retiring and we will miss greatly seeing her regularly in the building! Members of the CSC attended one of her last services on Sunday July 13, to present her a gift of thanks from us - a handmade mug by Krista Cameron, decorated with dragonflies to signify goodluck and new beginnings.

The community Clay Studio Collective is what you see today thanks to your unwavering support, and we want to wish her and happy retirement and excitement in her next chapter! Please come back anytime for a visit!
