In June 2023, St Lawrence College and the Friends of Pottery made a generous donation of ceramic equipment to begin our community studio in Athens, Ontario. We are so grateful to have the startup equipment of:

8 Wheels
1 Electric Kiln
1 Slab Roller
1 Wedging Table

We have secured a studio location that needs new outfitting to accommodate the utilities to run a studio this large. The collective needs $30,000 for start-up costs which include electrical and plumbing.

We have received some donations and loans from board members and are working at generating funds through community fundraising events. We cannot do this alone however, and are asking for others to help. If you want to be a part of the start-up of the CSC, no donation is too small!
