Empty Bowls, Made with a Full Heart!

Empty Bowls took place last Saturday in Brockville, hosted by Loaves & Fishes, as part of a global event to raise money to increase food security for our community members in need. They Clay Studio Collective was honoured to be part of this year's event, alongside our fellow potter's in the community.

Like we always say, we're stronger when we band together!

Over the course of two months, our studio members and KCP student's volunteered their free time and talents to making bowls for this year's Empty Bowl Event, hosted by Loaves & Fishes Brockville.

We were so pleased to make a grand total of 80 BOWLS for this year's event!

Check out some behind the scene studio shots of our potter's working away in the studio...

Bowls started to rapidly be unloaded from the kilns last month, filling the studio with beautiful, handcrafted masterpieces made with care, creativity and joy!

Each one was unique, like each potter who made them.

Only 9/80 bowls made for Empty Bowls this year. How could you ever choose?

Thank you again to all of our potters, from studio members, to students, to teachers, to the board!

We love what we can do with the power of clay to bring friends, community, and our own creativity to life.
