All events are exclusive to CSC Members Only, organized by our Membership Committee.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Pi Day

Sunday March 16

10:00am - 1:00pm

Join us in the studio to celebrate Pi Day, an international event typically celebrated on March 14 (03/14), which is the number of Pi!

We’ll be making handbuilt pie dishes from our favourite molds, followed by a pie buffet made by the talented chef's of our Membership Committee. There will be both sweet and savoury options to choose from, with a selection of tea and coffee.

Limited space! Please RSVP by March 9th via sign-up sheet in the studio. If we reach capacity, folks are still welcome to watch the demo and stay for pie.

Attendees please remember to BYOS - bring your own stuff: plate, mug, fork + pottery supplies (clay, tools, molds).

What is Pi?!
Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, approximately equal to 3.14159. Fitting for potters to celebrate, both for working on the wheel and makers of pie dishes!

Empty Bowl Fundraiser

January - March 2025

Let's reach 100 bowls! Please join us in the studio to throw, trim and glaze handmade bowls for charity. Clay has been generously donated by Christine Kivi, just bring your pottery skills!

Awesome! You can drop them off in the studio anytime, in the box labeled "Empty Bowls." Please attach you name so you can be credited with the bowls you donate.

PAST EVENTS

1-Year Anniversary: Members Celebration

Sunday November 24

2:00 - 4:00pm

Let's keep the 1-Year Anniversary festivities rolling! Please join us in the studio for an extra-special celebration for just us.

We have lots of fun activities planned, including a DIY apron printing workshop (all materials included!) and 'Skill-Share' Demonstrations with fellow members. Light refreshments of tea, coffee and baked goodies will be provided. Please BYOHM (Bring Your Own Handmade Mug)!

It's our little way to say thank you for all your support over the past year. Let's celebrate this awesome studio and community we have!

All our member's events are free, or with a small registration fee in support of Clay Studio Collective, with 100% of any event proceeds going back into maintenance and development of our community studio.
